As Protocol continues to expand its horizons, more and more artists are getting the chance to flourish. On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out “Physical”, the latest single from Mr. Sid and Choujaa. Consistently growing since its foundation in 2012, Protocol has made a name for itself as a go-to label for house music for a number of years now. Hell with one look at their lineup including the likes of: Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu, Teamworx, Futuristic Polar Bears, Trilane, Marcus Santoro, Stadiumx, Tim van Werd, Timmo Hendriks, Marc Benjamin, and Nicky Romero himself, to name a few, you know that there is an expectation for an artist to release on the label. While Mr. Sid already has quite a few hard-hitting singles under his belt already with Protocol, incoming rising star Choujaa is primed and ready to inject some old-school groove into this modern house sound.
While we’re all for that deep house single that motivates us to hit the dance floor and completely lose our inhibitions, at the same time we just need a single that can serve as our soundtrack for the entire night. While Mr. Sid is a common character in the world of Modern Neon, his newfound partner in crime Choujaa brings plenty of late 90s club groove to the formula. We are treated to both the past and the future, thanks to these two talented producers giving it their all in the studio. “Physical” is not only sultry and seductive but enticing for fans of deep bass who are willing the go out into the night and absolutely lose their minds.
