Mike Williams Releases Fresh Electronic Remake of Trans-X’s 1983 Hit “Living On Video.” Out Now on Spinnin’ Records
Every time we think we’re in a lull of modern mixes of classic songs from the 80s and 90s, it picks right back up again. On our latest visit to Spinnin’ we are checking out “Living On Video”, the latest from Mike Williams. Williams has been making waves in the electronic music scene since 2017 when his hit “Feel Good” went sky high on radio, playlists, and streams. This was followed by “The Beat” and “Wait Another Day,” both of which turned into huge hits as well. His recognizable style and sound have earned him the opportunity to play at some of the most famous festivals in the world, including Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Parookaville, World Club Dome, and Mysteryland, among others. Despite the pandemic, Williams continued to tour the world, playing in countries like Taiwan, Nepal, and China, as well as Europe and the US. He also found time to get into the studio during his travels, always looking for inspiration to create new and exciting music.

Mike Williams is a Dutch studio wizard who has been creating some of the most exciting electronic music in recent years. His latest release is a rendition of Trans-X’s 1983 hit “Living On Video,” featuring DTale. This track pays homage to the original with its distinctive melody and revamps it with a fresh electronic flair, making it perfect for modern club dance floors. Williams’s club version incorporates a heavier bassline element for dancefloor appeal, bringing one of the 80s most-talked about songs to a new generation of electronic music fans. The track was first teased at Ultra Music Festival’s Jacked Stage, where it received an enthusiastic response from the packed dancefloor. Since then, Williams has been playing different versions of the track in his sets, making it a highly-anticipated release.
