Mike Emilio x Flakke x Quando Release Euro-Dance Meets Dance-Pop Single “Deep Breath”
Sometimes we just need to take a deep breath and dive in. On our latest visit over to Purple Fly we are checking out “Deep Breath”, the lates drop from Mike Emilio, Flakke, and Quando. For those of you who haven’t heard of Purple Fly, it is a brand new music label making a major splash in the current market. A completely independent imprint, Purple Fly embraces the current hype around NFTs in the cryptocurrency world with one goal in mind…support their artists. On a larger scale, Purple Fly aims to support collaborations of all forms of art, connecting music and stunning visuals for a truly immersive experience. The label will be dropping NFTs with each music drop, allowing direct support from fans for their favorite artists. There are many artists joining in the movement with Mike Emilio, Flakke, and Quando joining and already an extensive list including IZKO, Danny Ores, Drezio, Laidback Luke, BLVD., Fatman Scoop, Shaquille O’Neal, Sevenn, and more as part of the Purple Fly roster. With more and more talent joining their ranks, Purple Fly is going to be a major force to be reckoned with very soon.
Now with this drop being their 13th, we think Purple Fly is starting to get the right idea of how to make exclusive NFT music drops. This latest single truly is a global clashing of backgrounds, as we have Swedish star Mike Emilio joining forces with Flakke and Quando out of Brazil and Singapore respectively. With each having a rather unique approach to making their form of electronic music, you’d expect for them to clash and bounce off each other instead of melding together so easily. “Deep Breath” opens with a rather surreal vocal hook, quickly floating by the wayside for a beautiful ethereal instrumental that builds the experience. to a cinematic climax. This melting pot of musical styles each takes their turns in the spotlight at the same time finding a happy medium as a dance-pop meets euro-dance crossover single. We are glad that Emilio, Flakke, and Quando found their collective home with Purple Fly and we hope that we can see another collab from these artists very soon.
