Love is Complicated, Felix Cartal & Lights Drop New Track "Love Me"

It is that time of year again, where plenty of couples spend their savings on the commercial holiday of love. We are getting our dose of love through Felix Cartal and Lights with their latest track “Love Me” over on Physical Presents. Felix has been busy, with multiple standalone productions with other producers including successful producer Kaskade. Felix will also be touring internationally so everyone will be able to see it sometime soon. Due to his most recent success, Felix has even garnered over 45 million streams over on his Spotify! Clearly, Felix, you are doing something right. “Love Me’ is only the beginning of a new series of tracks for Felix, so stary tuned!

“The thing that made this collaboration so special is that we’re literally the only two people involved in this song. I wrote an instrumental, Lights wrote an initial lyric idea, we refined the chorus and arrangement together, then she tracked her vocals herself and I did all the production myself. It’s just us two creating every single piece of this song. A true collab. I love how it turned out.” – Felix Cartal

Felix Cartal and Lights are here to bring us exactly what we needed on Valentine’s Day, a song about love. An addictive track when romance infects the brain, “Love Me” takes both of Cartal’s strengths in production and Lights’ fantastic vocal performance to mold into this story of complicated love. The melody is decadent, the instruments are organic, and Lights blows the track out of the park. Felix, you have struck gold again and we can’t wait for this new series of tracks to add to our playlist.
