Leo Lauren Shares Sonic Fever Dream Single “Lovesick” With Animated Lyric Video | Debut EP “Supernormal” Coming This Fall

On our latest dive into the independent music space we are checking out “Lovesick”, the debut single from Leo Lauren. Leo Lauren is a multidisciplinary artist who effortlessly blends visual art, music, sci-fi surrealist videos, and performance into a unique gothic-pop identity. Known for his hand-stitched Frankensteinian outfits, Lauren’s work fuses past and present, creating a vivid, otherworldly aesthetic that defies conventional genres. His art is a collision of influences, resulting in a distinct sonic and visual experience where emotions like love, fear, and fantasy take on strange and exciting forms.

Omniverse songwriter and visual artist Leo Lauren has unveiled his debut single, “Lovesick,” now streaming across all digital platforms. The track serves as the soundtrack to a desolate, love-less reality akin to a dystopian Love Island. Set against the backdrop of a surreal Paradise Goth, where lonely beach strolls are bathed in the distant glow of a fading sunset, “Lovesick” captures the essence of yearning with a pulsating beat that reflects a heart longing for what remains just out of reach.
Accompanying the single, Lauren has released an animated lyric video, created in collaboration with virtual artist Balfua (Sam Balfus), and a free digital visual art collectible. This collectible marks the beginning of a series that will offer exclusive content and access to a community of goth-glam enthusiasts. “Lovesick” is the inaugural track from Lauren’s upcoming EP, Supernormal, set for a Fall release. The EP is produced by Heather Liz Baker, music director for Chapell Roan, and features contributions from Baker on bass and guitar, alongside drums by Jarrod Fletcher Alexander of My Chemical Romance.
