Israeli Duo Teamworx Drop 16th Release on Protocol With Deep Progressive Gem “Actions”
While you may be able to get your point across with just words, taking action is much more powerful. On this week’s first visit to Protocol we have “Actions”, the newest single from the Protocol vets themselves Teamworx. A staple in the Protocol roster, Teamworx has been making waves since joining the label last year. By far one of the most bass-heavy tracks on Protocol, “Trap Like” is going to ride that wave of success created by Teamworx last two releases. They were able to earn over 1 million streams on Spotify with “Champion Sound” with Nicky Romero and have cemented their staying power with their Sunstars collaboration “Playin Around“. Teamworx has continued to expand their catalog, with their latest drop “Techno” receiving plenty of industry and audience acclaim.
As we continue to keep an eye on Teamworx as they continue to blossom into household name producers, the more we are learning about just exactly how their minds work when it comes to producing music. Over the years that we have been covering Teamworx, the duo has continued to experiment with their overwhelmingly dynamic style. This makes them quite difficult to put a label on or fit inside a particular genre box, which is exactly where we like our producers. While “Actions” derives primarily from traditional house music, Teamworx explores the darker/underground side of house while holding everything together with a deep progressive foundation. The Israeli duo recruited vocalist Paul Aiden to join in on the fun, whose catchy vocal hook and overall performance is what drives the true message of “Actions” home. Simply “Just stop talking and just do it.”.
