Heavyweight Newcomers Drop New Modern Dubstep Anthem “Womp Womp”

When we just started to get used to the Heavyweight roster, Carnage throws more talent in the mix. On our last stop off at Heavyweight Records we were able to check out “Womp Womp”, a brand new hard bass track from newcomers Rated R and VRG. Based out of Orlando and better known by close friends as “Frankie”, Rated R is bursting onto the scene to completely throw audiences for a loop. Already making his live debut at WMC in Miami, Rated R has already gained support from fellow producers ATLiens, GTA, and Megladon.

Rated R isn’t the only producer in the studio this time, however, as VRG jumped into the sessions as well to add his input. Making music since the tender age of 11, VRG has been experimenting with electronic music across the spectrum. Finding his start in the Jersey Club scene, VRG has continued to dabble in other electronic genres to find that special niche.

For those deep down the well of hard bass and electronic music, “Womp Womp” needs to be added to your playlists ASAP. We could say that Rated R and VRG made one hell of a dramatic entrance, embracing the pure insanity that comes in the hard bass genre. “Womp Womp” hooked us initially with its ever-escalating intro, slowly building up to the chaos of the song’s hook.  The tracks has already started its dominating run on the current dubstep scene, especially with support from NGHTMRE, Excision, and Carnage. As the wave of curiosity rises around the two producers behind the scenes, we have no doubt that “Womp Womp” will slay the rest of the competition.
