Enigmatic Pushing Daizies Return To Dim Mak For 9th Single Since Debut, Future Bass “I’ll Be Alright”
While these two are hard-working to no end, even flowers need to take a break before wilting. On our latest visit over to Dim Mak we are checking out “I’ll Be Alright”, the latest single from Pushing Daizies. Originally seeded around two years ago, Pushing Daizies is a brand new project of two prominent US producers who embrace the concept of life and put it into their work. Initially beginning as a series of collaborations between the two artists, a unique link was uncovered and they knew that they couldn’t let his energy go to waste. The duo’s moniker refers to the concept of “pushing daisies” or the flowers that are grown over a burial plot after someone dies. While death may occur and is inevitable, life can be reborn from its ashes.
“This is one of the first songs we ever wrote together. ‘I’ll Be Alright‘ is a song about past relationships, and how no matter what has happened, you’ll always be alright. We’ve been holding onto this one for a while now and can’t wait to hear the response!” – Pushing Daizies
The more we break down these singles from the Pushing Daizies camp, the more we feel we are getting closer to uncovering exactly who these two are behind the flowers. After taking a beat to keep energy high, Pushing Daizies is back over at Dim Mak to inject a bit more future bass into their current rotation. Even though Pushing Daizies just debut back in January, “I’ll Be Alright” is not only their 9th release but actually the first track both producers wrote under the Pushing Daizies pseudonym. The track sets a positive tone right out of the gate, with an almost crystalline vocal performance and gentle piano keys building up emotions until the track’s drop. The emotional elements overflow into the drop, which is both emotive and groovy at the same time. We are glad to see Pushing Daizies pop into our feed once again and we can’t wait to have plenty of summer anthems from these two!
