Dubstep and Metal? New from SLANDER & Sullivan King “Welcome to the Fire”
Just like when we kick off any December we are eagerly excited about something new and exciting. However, we definitely didn’t expect this. This week we have the latest from SLANDER, who just happened to pair up with Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Sullivan King for their unique new track “Welcome to the Fire”. While the duo is just now making waves in the industry, the duo has been absolutely busy throughout 2017. While they have found initial success in original productions such as “Superhuman” and “We Out”, they have kept themselves busy on their Superhuman tour.
You know how we teased that this track is unique? We didn’t expect dubstep and metal to be fused together since fans and advocates of both metal and electronic don’t typically see eye to eye when it comes to music quality. “Welcome to the Fire” is a heavy metal banger with plenty of t-bass driven dubstep sprinkled all throughout. This track is a perfect song to just release some pent-up emotions upon the world. We believe it is fair to say that this track is definitely not for the faint of heart.
