CYB3RPVNK DEBUT: Robbie Mendez Drops Progressive Electro “Happening”
If there is anything we can say of the industry in the past few months, it’s that R3HAB’s imprint has been on fire! Let’s take another trip back on over to CYB3RPVNK for “Happening”, the debut track of Robbie Mendez. Still relatively new to the scene, Robbie Mendez works the hustle harder than many other artists his age. With a mission to always stay at the forefront of the modern electronic music industry, CYB3RPVNK label boss R3HAB snatched Mendez up and provided a home within his roster. Mendez has already released tracks on Spinnin’, Spinnin’ NEXT, and Future House Music with plenty of support from well-known artists Jay Hardway and Afrojack.
Hey Mendez, what a hell of a debut (Applause)! Electro has always enthralled us and we are glad to see more of it being utilized. This talented up-and-comer is currently crafting his signature sound, but with a focus on bounce and funk the sound will be mastered in no time. With “Happening” Mendez has all of the bass sounds accounted for, creating a driving bassline and a completely funky melody that will set dancefloors ablaze. “Happening” focuses on the importance of addictive synths in electro music, which are overlooked often. Not this time though, you hooked us! What’s next Mendez? We’re waiting.
