Alright we promise no pun this time. Anyway, fueling our weekend chaos we have a remix of Kill the Noise’s “Jump Ya Body” from SLANDER and Tucker Kreway. SLANDER has been very busy since bursting onto the scene in 2014 (with their ever-popular Showtek remix), but throughout 2017 and 18 we are expected to see numerous original productions and a further grounding of their “heaven trap” style. With multiple original releases under their belt in the last few months, there is no way we can stop the SLANDER now.
“Kill The Noise has always been a huge influence of ours over the years! After doing our remix for his album back in 2016 we knew we had to do another one sometime in the future and we felt ‘Jump Ya Body‘ was the perfect song to update and put our spin on! Also, it was a privilege to work together with Tucker Kreway on this one! He’s an incredible upcoming talent from Canada and everyone should check out his music! ” – SLANDER
Man, we haven’t heard a solid Kill the Noise remix in a long time…so how does this one hold up? While we have come to know SLANDER for their melody-driven that we have seen plenty of this year, SLANDER didn’t want to let us wait any longer for a step back into the bass-heavy madness that hooked us initially. While they try to mask and fool us in the intro with a grooving melody, they turn right around and smack listeners head-on with stabbing and machine gun synths. Now this is what we signed up for.
