Annabel Gutherz Reveals New Single, “Eclipse”, An Introspective Look at Self-Esteem
Every time we check in with this artist, she’s exploring another era of her musical journey. On our latest visit to the indie-pop world we are checking out “Eclipse”, the latest from Annabel Gutherz. Officially debuting back in 2018, Annabel found the balance between current alternative pop and classic americana. Annabel introduced herself to the indie scene with her first philanthropic single “Legends”, where she donated all of the proceeds to support various charities in Montreal. After making her debut, she has spent the last few years honing her craft at Berklee College of Music and is now ready to re-introduce herself as a musician to the world. Today’s single is actually the first off her upcoming album which we should be hearing sometime later this year.
“‘Eclipse’ is about my tendency to compare myself to others and the impact this has on my self-esteem. I would rather be concentrated on purpose than consumed by comparison despite how challenging it may be at times, especially given the ubiquitous nature of social media. This single showcases my desire to focus on my own path and nurture my inner confidence.”
