Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 FES
Having not been introduced to the persona series until persona 4 I actually played them in reverse order. However, let me say that if you like dungeon crawlers, and dating sims you are sorely missing out.
One of the best rpg dungeon crawlers in my opinion out there, this game is a must for any Japan-fan’s collection. Ultimately the story is a tad bit cliched, but there is more than enough mystery to keep you going. They keep you guessing all the way to the very end about what is going to happen next.
If you haven’t played any of the persona games before but would like to, this is the one to start with. With a cast of characters that are relatable as well as game mechanics that are good, and only improved upon in later iterations, this game proves that perhaps someday, Japan can regain the rpg crown.
