Lukas Vane Brings Funky Tech House Vibes to Protocol Recordings With New Single “Falling”
Even though you initial debut with a seasoned artist is a bit chaotic, the stakes rise when you’re alone under the spotlight. On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out “Falling”, the latest drop from Lukas Vane. While Vane originally popped up on our radar during his previous collaboration with FAULHABER, this time around Vane isn’t sharing the stage. Lukas Vane originally pursued a career in music and theater, uncovering his passion for DJing when he was 15. Only a year later, and Vane has already performed shows in Spain, Belgium, Greece, and the United States. Vane has already snagged plenty of support from heavy-hitters like Tiesto, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, Showtek, and Hardwell. Vane even just participated on the Dutch TV show “House of Talent”, designed to showcase rising talent throughout the region. The audience instantly fell in love with Vane, sparking a continuously growing Dutch fanbase.
While we’ve been spending more and more time at festivals and major events (now that festival season is in full swing), sometimes we want to step out of the sweaty crowd and have a sweaty club night instead. With Vane finally taking the dive and making his solo debut with Protocol, listeners and outlets finally have the chance to hear what Vane can craft with a bit of Protocol guidance. fresh out of the studio, we’re treated to “Falling”, which is fundamentally a tried and true tech house single that was crafted specifically for clubgoers to lose their inhibitions and just enjoy the evening. While the track grabs our attention with the soulful vocal hook in the intro, Vane lets the track’s groovy melodies and driving bass take the lead and guide the energy throughout its duration. With Protocol in his corner, we know that Vane can make a fundamental dancefloor single.
