2nd Time the Charm: Bobby Love Releases Club and Chill Mixes for "Drink About" x Zanski
Some of the best mixes are created after the original maestro takes another shot. Fresh out of the scene in Toronto we have the upcoming house artist Bobby Love and the latest remixes from his backlog, “Drink About” with a chill and club mix. Bobby Love has been quickly developing himself a rather rabid fan base, mainly praising his unique productions style and highly energetic live performances. He has even managed to catch some awesome buzz on the global circuit, with Armin Van Buuren’s label Armada Deep releasing his last single. Bobby is only on the fast track to success and we hope we can see him along for the ride.
Not many might know, but “Drink About” was almost scrapped in the studio. Bobby Love and Zanski saw promise in the track, deep diving into the finer workings of the track to completely re-work the system inside and out. The feeling lingered, so Bobby Love went back into the studio once more to craft two new versions of “Drink About”, in case the original wasn’t good enough for you. First off we have the chill mix, which slows everything down and focuses on the groove and highlights the vocal work. The club mix, however, lands on the other side of the spectrum and reworks the production to not only extend the track, but bring the bass line right into the foreground.
