When the Label Boss Comes Knockin’, Nicky Romero Releases Chill "Duality"

Just because you are constantly busy running an incredibly large imprint, doesn’t mean you have to stop producing your own music. This weekend we have “Duality”, the latest original track from Protocol’s label boss Nicky Romero. . As we mentioned before, Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, he is constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music.
When you have reached that point in your career that you can pretty much explore any style or avenue you would like, you could say you have reached that goal. With “Duality” Romero decides to take a step back and give listeners just a taste of Romero’s original style and what allowed him to grow on us as an artist. While the track focuses on a chill downtempo bass line, Romero easily compliments it with delicate instrumental work. To put everything in a nice little bow (we know how Millenials love that) Romero adds an uplifting melody that will raise your spirits.
