Trilane, YARO, & Sarah De Warren Team Up For Trilane’s 9th Protocol Drop “Way Out”
A label boss should stive to have their label’s roster grow and reach their own level of popularity as they grow and audience of their own. This time around we are looking into the Protocol roster at “Way Out”, the newest single from Trilane, YARO, and Sarah De Warren. Since Protocol is all about promoting the fresh blood added to their roster, we are no surprise that they have expanded their recruitment pool. Between these two artists, they have been featured on many of the large labels such as Trilane being a five-time release for Protocol, along with both Revealed and Wall Recordings. Will he finally find his home within the Protocol roster? We’ll have to see what the future holds. Now official Protocol veterans, Trilane is quickly becoming engrained in the Protocol culture and roster. While YARO is just starting their career, they have already produced for artists like Benjamin Ingrosso and Icona Pop. YARO was already well-known in Europe as a genius percussionist, as they were one of the youngest Swedes to travel with the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.
While we have been treated to the soaring and progressive summer jams, it’s nice to sit back and enjoy a bit more of a grounded track for everyday listening. “Way Out” still thrives within the progressive world, letting Trilane and YARO run wild with a progressive and groovy bassline that keeps the track moving forward. We are lulled in with Sarah De Warren’s breathy ethereal vocal performance, but kept driving forward with a soft melody that we need right now. An addictive production paired with relatable lyrics? Alright, you have our attention. While we always enjoy the major festival anthems that we are used to throughout the summer, we need those sweet softer tracks to keep us elevated between the major highs.
