Trailblazing Open-Format DJ R-Wan Releases “Take Me Away”
Alright, you have a difficult task ahead of you. Will you be able to keep your audience grooving throughout the Sunday while they are flooded with family members? Rounding out this weekend we have “Take Me Away”, the latest from trailblazer R-Wan over at Restricted Records. R-Wan has already been setting the tone of his career, flooding dancefloors with high-profile collaborations such as Snoop Dogg, Fatman Scoop, and Dj Chuckie. R-Wan is further developing an open-format style, receiving plenty of praise and even earning a spot on DJ Mag‘s Top DJ’s of 2016.
In his latest track, ‘Take Me Away”, R-wan immediately sets the tone of a fresh carefree romance with the help of vocalist Mike Jay. Jay’s vocal work adds a few soul elements into the track, which compliments the open-format that R-Wan has developed. The beat quickly makes itself apparent, creating a groove that generates the image of two bodies grooving and dancing together in that exotic locale that you never would go to yourself. Time to meet that beautiful stranger, or to dive headfirst into your next impromptu satisfaction.
