A staple in the Protocol roster, Teamworx has been making waves since joining the label last year. By far one of the most bass-heavy tracks on Protocol, “Trap Like” is going to ride that wave of success created by Teamworx last two releases. They were able to earn over 1 million streams on Spotify with “Champion Sound” with Nicky Romero and have cemented their staying power with their Sunstars collaboration “Playin Around“. Teamworx has continued to expand their catalog, with their latest drop “Techno” receiving plenty of industry and audience acclaim. With DØBER officially debuting on the label, his tech-house production is a much-needed addition to the roster and providing a break from the progressive. Now that DØBER found his place in the roster, there are plenty of other producers and artists ready and waiting for this tech-house newcomer.
When it comes to a collab from any number of Protocol’s veterans, you know that you are going to strike gold. The latest collab between Protocol’s Teamworx and DØBER, “Complete Me” is a dark tech-house track primed and ready to be polished for the mainstream. Oozing an underground tone with deep instrumentals and a sultry vocal performance from singer Melissa De Kleine, “Complete Me” is a solid example of dark house that we feel has been missing from our lives. The track takes the best of both artists, combining Teamworx’s hard-hitting in your face sound with DØBER’s deep bass sound. Drops like “Complete Me” show that Protocol has a bit more up their sleeve than first meets the eye.
