Talented Bass Producer Akriza Unveils 2nd Album “Templo Sagrado”, An Ode To Ancient Sounds
The world of bass music is simply put, intoxicating. On our first visit over to High Vibe Records we are checking out Templo Sagrado, the newest album drop from skilled bass producer Akriza. Hailing from the mighty West Coast city of Portland, Oregon, Akriza is an aspiring world bass producer who is making his wide range of musical styles known to the masses. While world and bass music serves as the framework for Akriza’s sonic style, Akriza’s journey through the world of electronic music simply can’t be limited. While he may still just be early on in his career, Akriza has already performed internationally in Mexico and Guatemala, One Love Festival, and as the frontman of Wild Kingdom at sold out Down the Rabbit Hole at Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. Akriza dropped his debut album back in 2020, but has been eagerly dropping new music to introduce the second stage in his elegant journey…Templo Sagrado.
As we continue on our own personal bass/world music journey, it is time we take a step into Templo Sagrado. The latest major album from Akriza over at High Vibe, Templo Sagrado is a beautiful exploration into another dimension fueled by bass. Teetering on the border between sounds of the future and the past, Akriza tickles the listeners’ minds with sounds reminiscent of ancient Mayan culture and history. Templo Sagrado, or “Sacred Temple”, is the result of inspiration found by Akriza during his trip throughout Central America, accurately capturing the awe and amazement of his experience. It is difficult to pull just a single track out of the collection, as removing a single element form the entire package throws off the immersive experience as a whole. If you are a fan of bass, world, ambient, or experimental music, you need to take a seat and experience Templo Sagrado.
