Swedish Producer Mike Shiver Releases New Single “Calling On You”
Welcome back y’all. Oh, wait…you didn’t go anywhere. Anyway, this time we have another treat from the peeps over at Enhanced Music. What did they bring us? Swedish producer Mike Shiver’s latest single “Calling on You”. Shiver and Enhanced have a rather long relationship together, as this marks Shiver’s first release of 2017. It will be a nice return for Shiver, has he recently created his own label called Captured Music (which must keep most of his time). If you have any reason to doubt Shiver’s skills, just take a look at his catalog. Shiver has remixed for the likes as Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, as well as Above & Beyond.
As for Shiver’s latest release, the track is actually kind of hard to describe in terms of genre. Shiver as a certain essence of sensitivity that he takes as he approaches the track, while at the same time tries to innovate in his style of deep house. “Calling on You” feels futuristic, yet familiar all at the same time. This is rather impressive as Shiver is able to blend both the low-ends of house with a chorus-led harmony that is addictive and has the makings to be yet another Shiver hit. Here’s to 2017 Shiver! May the odds ever be in your favor! Cheers!
