She’s Not Slowing Down: Helena Legend Releases No Expectations – Part II

You thought Helena was going to take some time off? Hell nah…to tha nah nah nah! Today we have  part 2 of the new EP from Aussie but LA-based producer Helena Legend. Eager to break from from the identity she had created, she plans to blow everyone away with a complete departure of her original style in No Expectations – Part 2.  With plenty of success underneath her belt, including such hits as “Girl from the Sky”, “Pasidila”, and “Shake It”, as well as plenty experience with instruments since her younger years, it is a mystery what she could have in store for her fans. Be sure to check out Helena’s new clothing line as well.

Now that it has been a few months since the release of Part 1, releasing an epic Part 2 was best option. This time around, Helena channels a more urban vibe and tone, enlisting vocalists Sophie Hintze (“Ghost Ya”) and Sade Serena (“One Night”). Part 2 features three supremely fierce tracks, with “Ghost Ya” being our personal favorite. Part 2 seriously takes a different approach than the more electro-inspired Part 1, but the two parts contrast each other very well. Part 2 shows that Helena has really stepped outside of her comfort zone and can continue to keep making hits.
