Rising Artist TARYN Releases New Music Video For Most Recent Indie-Pop Single “Brand New”
When you try to showcase a transformation through audio alone, the lacking visual aspect can leave a bit to be desired. On our latest peek into the indie world we are checking out the music video for “Brand New”, the latest single from TARYN. Growing up in Ohio, TARYN was surrounded by all kinds of music throughout her childhood, regardless of the genre or decade. With musically open-minded parents, they encouraged TARYN to step out of her comfort zone and explore her creative urges…resulting in TARYN picking up the guitar at six years old. Now 23 years old and after many years of practicing, TARYN is embracing her singer/songwriter persona and blossoming into the well-rounded artist that she yearns to become.
Even when you have a simple idea for a music video, if you can stylize the tools you have it can elevate the video to new heights. Right out of the gate, the “Brand New” music video highlights the track’s acoustic intro and the feelings it evokes as the stage is set. We watch as TARYN explores her undecorated home, almost like a blank canvas being prepared for the next stage of her life. The more she explores the house, TARYN is bathed in lights as she traverses room to room, almost symbolizing her journey through the stages in her transformation.
