Once you have dropped over ten tracks on the same label, you definitely know that you have found your home. On our latest visit over to Protocol we had a sneak peek of “Run”, the newest drop from Teamworx and Almero. A staple in the Protocol roster, Teamworx has been making waves since joining the label last year. By far one of the most bass-heavy tracks on Protocol, “Trap Like” is going to ride that wave of success created by Teamworx last two releases. They were able to earn over 1 million streams on Spotify with “Champion Sound” with Nicky Romero and have cemented their staying power with their Sunstars collaboration “Playin Around“. Teamworx has continued to expand their catalog, with their latest drop “Techno” receiving plenty of industry and audience acclaim.
Since we started covering Teamworx back in the day, we have seen their skill in production time and time again and continue to be amazed each drop. On this latest release these Protocol vets recruited popular French producer Almero to aid in creating a powerhouse track that will boost those BPMs and hike up your adrenaline. “Run” is a solid house track that is perfect for your next heavy workout or can fill up a slot on your party playlist. Utilizing the ominous nature of mechanic synths, the track builds up quickly and releases a burst of energy to elevate your adrenaline and motivate you to bounce along with the beat. While this does mark Teamworx’s and Almero’s first collaboration, this is Teamworx’s 15th release and Almero’s 4th release on the Protocol label. What is next in the pipeline for these two acts? We will just have to wait and see.
