Protocol’s Marcus Santoro & FaderX Drop “Out Of My Head”, Progressive Meets Trance
While this modern electronic world may have a few different subgenres take the top crown for a quick beat, progressive house always fills in the gaps. Heading on over this time to Protocol we are checking out “Out Of My Head” the latest single from Marcus Santoro and FaderX. Marcus Santoro is still relatively new on the scene, but with a few notches under his belt. Since originally joining the scene, Santoro has released multiple tracks and remixes on the Enhanced, Armada, and Flashover labels finally settling in with Protocol. We have been following FaderX’s journey with Protocol for a few years now and their combined sounds will easily mesh together.
Progressive house is such a welcoming genre, allowing artists and producers to manipulate and bend the rules as they see fit. Both Santoro and FaderX took a different approach for “Out Of My Head”, stepping away from their full normal style to make room for each other. With all the makings of a euphoric beat, this 9th FaderX single highlights each producer’s skillset. They use this track to explore trance as it exists within the progressive house world, letting trance envelop the track’s core melody. This fusion of genres is exactly how Protocol innovates in the progressive house scene and why Protocol is consistently under our attention.
