Protocol Alert! 100th Release Incoming With Nicky Romero’s “PRTCL” Ft. Spyder

Oh, it’s not often that we have a chance to showcase a label boss’s release here on MiR. Anyway, rounding out this weekend we have a special treat…the 100th release from Protocol Recordings! For this special occasion Protocol’s label boss Nicky Romero teamed up with fellow Protocol artist Spyder to create “PRTCL”. Always having a forward-thinking initiative, Protocol has been at the forefront of the modern electronic music movement since 2012. After having a monumental 2017, we are excited about what the label will be able to accomplish in 2018, If “PRTCL” is any indication, it will be absolutely great.

We seriously can’t believe that Protocol is now at their 100th release, what an achievement. Proving why he is still one of the most influential DJs in the movement now, Romero created “PRTCL” to honor what Protocol has accomplished so far.  Romero brought back the high-energy groove that made Romero a household name early on in his career and teamed up with Spyder to elevate it to the next level. Whether it is that high energy groove, the bouncing basslines, or the sweet cinematic melody, “PRTCL” feels timeless and is a perfect example of what Protocol has to offer.

Make sure you give “PRTCL” a full listen below:
