Noelle Turns Heads With Nostalgic Retrowave Meets Modern Pop Anthem “Cold Killer”
When we come back to an artist after a bit more time has passed in their career and see just how much they have changed, we live for that feeling. On our latest dive into the Canadian music scene we are checking out “Cold Killer”, the latest drop from noelle. A rising star in the modern Candian music scene, noelle has been busy honing her musical skills even in her early years. Growing up in the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Ontario, noelle has been surrounded y music all of her life. With no limits on the music she absorbed, noelle has continued to craft he own unique blend of R&B, pop, urban, and jazz. After graduating high school in 2017, noelle joined Wax Records in order to further pursue her career. She may have amassed just shy of 100k subscribers on YouTube, but it is time for her to go even further beyond.

With noelle originally popping up on Modern Neon’s radar back in 2020, she sure has come a long way in just a few years. Now with even more singles under her belt, noelle has been able to tweak and find the right sound that fits her chaotic yet encapsulating voice and live presence. With “Cold Killer” being the latest addition to the noelle catalog. we see how she uncovered a nostalgic yet modern approach to making dance-pop music. Even though her vocal performance fits in with modern house music trends, the production of “Cold Killer” is what caught our attention. Bordering on retro wave with a few sprinklings of modern house, the track’s high-energy beat keeps listeners invested in the song’s cat and mouse agenda.
