For years, Mikey Tableman has been a familiar force behind some of nightlife and music culture’s most memorable experiences, helping shape festivals, events, and creative spaces that bring people together. But beyond his work as an experiential producer, Tableman has gradually stepped into a more intimate role as an artist, performer, and mental health advocate, channeling his own lived experiences into projects designed to spark conversation and connection. Drawing from periods of personal struggle, self-discovery, and resilience, his creative practice explores the ways adversity can be transformed into empathy, healing, and shared understanding. That vision comes fully into focus with My Manic Maze, his debut multimedia experience. Mikey Tableman’s My Manic Maze is an ambitious multimedia project that blends spoken word, music, film, literature, and live performance into an immersive exploration of addiction, trauma, burnout, and recovery. Drawing from his experiences as a leader in the nightlife and festival worlds, Tableman transforms deeply personal struggles into stories designed to spark conversation and encourage vulnerability. The project began rolling out with “The Tea,” premiered during The Alchemy showcase at The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, where he confronted themes of social anxiety, overthinking, and the hidden pressures of appearing okay while struggling internally. Follow-up releases “Down The Rabbit Hole” and “Santiago” continue that journey, tracing a path from emotional turmoil toward healing, self-forgiveness, and acceptance.
Expanding beyond music, My Manic Maze will also arrive as a memoir-inspired poetry book exploring identity, relationships, emotional wellness, purpose, and modern masculinity. Rather than existing solely as an EP or literary release, Tableman’s vision combines spoken word, visual art, and storytelling into a larger creative experience that examines the complexities of mental health through radical honesty and emotional transparency.
