Nicky Romero Joins FaderPro For Brand New Masterclass + “Finish Mr Record” Producing Contest

While many of the powerhouse producers feel completely out of reach, more and more are providing new ways to assist other aspriing producers. Today we are visiting Protocol for a brand new partnership between label boss Nicky Romero and the company FaderPro. Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, but he is also constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music. Romero continues to surprise us, even dropping a mini-doc series back in 2019 and multiple successful releases now that he’s back on the wagon. Hell, he even put on one hell of a performance at the London opening of the Call of Duty League eSports tournament!

Ever wanted to learn from one of the most consistant and well-known producers in the industry today? Now you can. FaderPro has already been consistently the location to go to for quality music production tutorials from many of EDM’s top producers, so it was only a matter of time until Romero joined the ranks. Originally filmed back in 2019, Romero’s Masterclass contains over 50 chapters of lessons for beginners and advanced learners with stems and project files available for download once the course is purchased. With over 7 hours of content, viewers receive a sneak peek into Romero’s creative process and each step he uses during a track’s production. If that isn’t enough, FaderPro and Romero invite aspiring producers to participate in a “Finish My Record” contest. Producers will have the opportunity to finish Nicky‘s track to showcase their skills. He will select the best demo created by a producer, which will be released as a collaboration with Nicky on his label, Protocol Recordings.
