More Dark Electronica? Howwler’s “Chapter Two” EP
It has been almost a quarter since we heard from this enigma of an artist. This week we were given a special treat…just a taste of dark electronica. We have the second major release from the enigmatic Howwler, who brings us his second two track ep Chapter Two. A mystery to most of the community, Howwler has been recently discovered by the well-known Paradigm Talent Agency who hope to take the industry by storm with his style. While Howwler may be hiding in the shadows, for now, his work is already hitting comparisons with the great Gesaffelstein during his “Pursuit”.
As a follow up to Howwler’s first EP Chapter One. Chapter Two continues to showcase the dark electronic style that Howwler brings to the table. Are you ready to be haunted? Howwler sets the tone of the EP off pretty quickly with “The Vault”, which brings plenty o its hardcore percussion and eerie atmosphere. This track is ominous and captures the listeners quickly. “One Mode” wraps up the EP with plenty of anicipation that drops the listener with malicious bass lines and serrating synths.
