Layto Drops New EP ARRIVED + “MY HEAD” Music Video Ahead of East Coast Headline Tour

Let’s kick down the doors of our local alt-pop lounge, we hear they have something interesting in the works. On our latest peek into ht indie world we are checking out ARRIVED, the brand-new EP from Layto. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Layto learned early on in life that music would serve as a personal escape. The youngest of five, Layto grew up in a chaotic and turmoil-filled home, feeding his desire to truly find his voice and uncover his identity. After years of practice and honing his style, Layto released his debut EP Low Boy in 2018. The EP and its lead single “Little Poor Me” skyrocketed Layto to the next level of his career, amassing over 50 million streams online.  Now ready to release the next major drop in his career, we’re excited to see where ARRIVED will launch Layto.

‘“ARRIVED is metaphorical and literal. We just signed a label deal, things are in place career-wise, and it feels like all my time grinding & making music has finally arrived at a place sonically that feels entirely my own.” – Layto

With the signing of a label deal just in the rearview mirror, this new EP is a milestone marker for Layto and his career. Packed to the brim with six hard-hitting alt-pop anthems, ARRIVED is a solid introduction to this next stage of Layto as an artist and a performer. While the EP stands for more than just the literal sense of finally being able to reach a milestone on this unfamiliar journey as an artist and a creator, the project stands for everything Layto has sacrificed to reach this point. Thanks to his dynamic style, audiences are able to listen to his perfect blend of alt-rock, pop, and hip-hop elements and create a sound that has no problem breaking down genre barriers. We hope that ARRIVED is not only a major marker for Layto, but another major launchpad to catapult him even further.
