German duo Paradigm and Brazilian talent HAWK Drop Infectious “Something Wrong” on CONTROVERSIA
The more we explore and dissect CONTROVERSIA’s catalog, the more our scope into this facet of EDM expands. On our latest visit we are checking out “Something Wrong”, the latest single from Paradigm and HAWK. While you can be a major force to be reckoned with by yourself, when you find someone who matches you creatively your united front can be even more powerful. Paradigm is one of these cases, as the project was created by friends Patrick Liegl and Séb Mont, who absolutely skyrocketed their careers once Paradigm took hold. Their most popular single, “Wake Me Up In Parish” with Anthony Keyrouz, has netted them over 30 million streams just on Spotify! Their style blends and meshes well with HAWK., who is already becoming a prominent member in the global scene at only 23 years old. With numerous productions under his belt and a rabid fanbase, this collaboration might just be the perfect formula for CONTROVERSIA.
Right out of the gate, we can already tell that “Something Wrong” has a clear shot to be the club earworm of the summer. While not straying too far from the slap house style both Paradigm and HAWK. are known for, the track finds a solid middle ground for each act to showcase their signature beats. The single is almost hauntingly beautiful, as the chilling synth work creates an enticing yet foreboding allure to the production, luring the listener in until they won’t want to break free. With an infectious beat and melody like this, we have no doubt in our minds that “Something Wrong” will slay in the club and on streaming platforms worldwide.
