Eighty Ninety Share ‘Bowery Beach Road’ Collection, Pre-2020 Standout and Unreleased Tracks!
Audiences often froth at the mouth when they hear news of unreleased tracks. On our latest peek into the indie world we are checking out Bowery Beach Road, a new release from Eighty Ninety. Bursting onto the scene back in 2016, Eighty Ninety hit the ball right out of the gate with their debut single “Three Thirty”. Quickly after its initial release, the single reached #2 on Spotify’s Global Viral Charts and they seized the opportunity to drop their full EP Elizabeth. Now snagging over 25 million streams online, the Eighty Ninety catalog was even selected by Taylor Swift for her official Spotify playlist “Songs Taylor Loves”.This latest single will join the duo’s previously released singles “Happier” and “Better With Friends” on their next EP, The EP, is a collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer Gian Stone (Maroon 5, Dua Lipa) and will drop later this year.
“In our first years as a band, we began telling a story with a series of singles that were always supposed to be part of our first record. The realities of being independent, streaming, and then covid meant that we were not able to release them all together in the way we had wanted. Now, as we prepare to release an entirely different and entirely new album this year, it felt like the right moment to look back. “Bowery Beach Road” encapsulates our first era — all of the songs we released before 2020 + a few unreleased tracks — as it was always intended: as a full length record. As singles these songs told their own stories, but together they tell a very intentional one with characters that change, come and go, endure heartbreak, loss, regret, nostalgia, come together, fall apart, and sometimes end up back together again.”= Eighty Ninety
Eighty Ninety, the indie-pop project consisting of brothers Abner and Harper, has released a compilation called ‘Bowery Beach Road.’ This collection features both previously released singles, such as “Three Thirty” and “Your Favorite Song,” as well as unreleased tracks. It serves as a tribute to their initial phase of music and precedes their upcoming debut album. The 12-track compilation offers a nostalgic journey through their past work, mainly consisting of all of the band’s best hits pre-2020. Even if originally each of the songs told their individual stories, many of them were meant to form together into a full length record. Now fully composed to gether in their true form, fans of Eighty Ninety can enjoy their music the way it was meant to.
