Barron Drops Uplifting yet Mystifying New Single “Divinity”
There is one key aspect of the dance music world that we enjoy beyond anything else, and it is just the thrill and enjoyment in created music. On our latest peek into the indie dance world we are checking out “Divinity”, the latest from Barron. Created by Nashville, TN native Harrison Barron, Barron is already quickly proving that he is a rising star in the Eastern US dance community. After only having six months under his belt as a professional musician, Barron netted over 125k online streams and even had his singles placed in notable playlists such as “Ultra Worldwide”. The momentum doesn’t stop there however, as his most recent track “Home” caught the attention of Magnetic Magazine which salected the track for its “Top 15 Indie Electronic Tracks” list in November. Barron might still be new to the game, but he’s already catching the attention of the right people.
“This track was birthed out of my idea to merge electronic elements with a song that feels cinematic in essence. “Divinity” embodies a track that feels almost like a movie score piece but I would say is undeniably electronic at its core. This song was largely inspired by one of my favorite Odesza albums, ‘A Moment Apart’. I’ve always admired the way they were able to make every track of that album feel like something from a movie score and that’s what I was pushing for with this track. ‘Divinity’ has been over a year in the making and i’m thrilled to finally get it out to people.” – Barron
Barron’s artistic vision is on full display in his latest single “Divinity.” The inception of this song stemmed from his concept of fusing electronic elements with a cinematic essence. “Divinity” epitomizes a composition that evokes the emotions and grandeur typically associated with movie scores, while still retaining its electronic core. The artist drew inspiration from Odesza’s critically acclaimed album, ‘A Moment Apart,’ which he greatly admires. Odesza’s ability to infuse each track on that album with a cinematic quality served as a driving force for Barron during the creation of “Divinity.” Over the course of more than a year, he meticulously crafted the song, pouring his heart and soul into its production. Finally, after an extensive creative journey, Barron is ecstatic to release “Divinity” to the public, eager to share his musical vision with others.
