Dreamstate Reveals the Fifth Installments of Its Ongoing Compilation Series ‘Convergence’, Featuring Exclusive Tracks From Karl Mac & MDDLTN, Tyler Jack, Dustin Husain, and Sequence Six & Amunete
It is time to CONVERGE once again. On our latest visit to Dreamstate Records we are checking out the fifth installment in their ‘Convergence’ series, ‘Convergence 5″. Dreamstate, established in 2015, is a global brand celebrating all forms of trance and progressive music. It creates immersive experiences that elevate listeners through ethereal beats and timeless melodies, uniting a passionate community around the healing and connective power of trance. With festivals held in countries like Mexico, the UK, Australia, Poland, Canada, and the United States, and stages featured at EDC events in China and India, Dreamstate has become a worldwide phenomenon.
In 2017, Dreamstate expanded into music production with the launch of Dreamstate Records, featuring releases from artists such as Vini Vici, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and Judge Jules. The brand continues to connect with fans through various social media platforms and remains a prominent force in the global trance music scene.
Dreamstate Records continues to expand the boundaries of trance with the release of ‘Convergence 5’, the fifth installment of its celebrated compilation EP series. The release features four exclusive tracks from Karl Mac & MDDLTN, Tyler Jack, Dustin Husain, and Sequence Six & Amunete, each showcasing a distinct approach to the genre. Opening with Karl Mac and MDDLTN’s “Cala Vida,” the compilation delivers a hard house-infused, Balearic-inspired track full of driving basslines, playful synths, and intermittent vocal chops, capturing the essence of Ibiza’s club culture. Tyler Jack follows with “Here We Go,” a nod to ’90s dream trance, blending uplifting melodies, layered synths, and euphoric peak-time energy, while Dustin Husain’s “Round 1” infuses tech-driven trance with punchy synths and urgent, atmospheric textures.
The EP closes with “Affirmation,” a collaboration between Sequence Six and Latvian singer-songwriter Amunete, combining ethereal vocals with airy, uplifting progressions that build into a hypnotic, psychedelic finale. Throughout the compilation, Dreamstate Records balances nostalgia with innovation, offering tracks that range from high-energy dancefloor bangers to reflective, transcendent melodies. ‘Convergence 5’ highlights both emerging talents and established artists, creating a vibrant snapshot of trance music’s evolving soundscape that is at once exhilarating, emotive, and immersive.
