Bass Head Buku is Back With “Control”, Now With More Lasers!
About time, we have been waiting for our official alien invasion producer to come back with some new music. In this midweek bump, we have Buku’s latest “let’s take out the aliens” track “Control”. Buku has been slowly becoming acquainted with the modern audience, having received praise from legendary producer Bassnectar and moderate success from previous releases. This has also allowed him to travel all around the world, with just coming off an Australian tour and moving along to a North American tour through July. One of his more recent tracks, “Ready 4”, even made it onto the soundtrack of Madden ’18! Hopefully, the Madden curse won’t affect Buku that much.
Just like the rest of Buku’s work, “Control” puts us on an alien planet and prepares us to do battle with a hostile alien race. With synths that are almost pure machine-like and effects inspired by lasers straight out of science fiction, it won’t be surprising to see “Control” on plenty of gamers’ playlists. Just wait for that sinister bassline to take you hold and be whisked onto a wild adventure. While we loosely believe that our words will sway you, perhaps Buku’s will instead.

“Oddly enough, the track wasn’t inspired by anything particularly malevolent. “I actually was doing yard work one day, and the idea for the main drop popped into my head,” he said. “I ran inside and wrote down a few notes, and it was the first time I’ve ever adhered 100% to the pre-production plan.” – Buku
