Hey all, we are back. I mean, not like we really went anywhere to begin with. But Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak record label presents yet another hit to the masses, with Max Styler and his epic track “Heartache”. While “Heartache” has been out for a little while now, Styler has decide to join together and collaborate with three very different producers and create a remix package for his hit.  Styler has been representing Dim Mak quite nicely over the last few years, as he is the youngest producer to sign with Dim Mak at only eighteen years old. While the support from Dim Mak and Aoki have been massive, Styler has also been supported by other major superstars such as Diplo, The Chainsmokers, and DJ Snake.

Now let’s move onto what people actually came to here for, the remixes. This remix package features work from producers SMLE, Taiki Nulight, and MERCE, but let’s put SMLE on the chopping block first. The electronic duo gives listeners a rather futuristic and bass-heavy rendition, easily bordering on the avant-garde. On the contrary, Taiki’s remix is a much more different approach and easily finds itself on another end of the spectrum from the others. Taiki’s interpretation makes me feel I am going to a slightly shady underground warehouse party that I am absolutely going to love. MERCE brings up the rear with a trap influenced remix that is a definitely all the people to the dance floor kind of track.
