Cityzen Continues Thriving W/ CYB3RPVNK, New UK Garage Single “The Roof Is On Fire”
After taking a bit of a break and returning with a top-tier single, you need to ride that momentum. ON our latest visit over to CYB3RPVNK we are checking out “The Roof Is On Fire”, the latest drop from the enigmatic Cityzen. Cityzen is definitely a peculiar project, as his affinity for the color red when paired with his unique glasses creates a rather odd image. We have already been treated to a bit of Cityzen’s style with their first few single “Sirius”, “Rave Tech Repeat”, and “Unicorns On a Rocket Launcher”. However, Cityzen’s drive to blend futuristic beats and classic underground sounds will only further cloud his image and style. Will they be able to transport us back in time through music once again? Maybe coming back from this mysterious hiatus gave them the refresher they needed.
While we still may not know anything about the identity of this talented producer, it may not matter as we are fine with an entity just existing and producing music. The latest single to come out since Cityzen’s break, “The Roof Is On Fire” is a short yet hard-hitting dancefloor single crafted to score your return to nightlife. Blending tech-house kickdrums and UK Garage beats, Cityzen turns up the heat with yet another catchy vocal hook and booty-pumping bassline to keep listeners up and grooving. With “The Roof Is On Fire” being Cityzen’s fifth single this year alone, they are quickly cementing themselves on the frontlines of modern club music, Also with CYB3RPVNK baking them up, we are excited to hear how Cityzen closes out the year and transitions into 2022. We will finally discover who is behind the project?
