Caroline Romano Reveals New Dreamy Indie Pop Single, “Body Bag”
Another new track from Caroline Romano? You don’t have to tell us twice. On our latest peek into the indie space we are checking out “Body Bag”, the newest drop from Carline Romano. A self-proclaimed “loudest sort of introvert“, at a meager 19 years old Caroline has written her way into the alt-pop movement of this generation. Since dropping her initial single back in 2017, she already has a handful of singles under her belt and has racked up over a million streams online. This single follows her previously released “PDA of the Mainstream”, which marked her transition from indie bedroom pop over to the alternative pop-punk scene. We aren’t the only ones taking notice, as Caroline’s quick rise in the alt-pop world has garnered support from tastemakers like Hollywood Life, American Songwriter, and Just Jared.
“I always had this picture in my mind of who I would be at this age and what my life would look like, and I always thought it would be shiny, fun, sexy, and exhilarating. I’ve spent the last few years chasing those feelings, but ‘Body Bag’ is a peak behind the curtain at the reality of modern romance and feeling young and old at the same time. I think sonically the song has so many ups and downs, and that’s exactly how this stage of my life has felt. It’s running barefoot on the concrete, chasing something you can’t quite put your finger on, but running towards it nonetheless. That’s how I would best describe ‘Body Bag.’”
Nashville-based alt-pop artist Caroline Romano has released her new single, “Body Bag,” a track that delves into the realities of growing up and facing the complexities of life.
