Cade Hoppe Releases New EP, ‘Just Look At The Moon’,

Today’s artist is one that simply forces access to our heartstrings every time he pops into our DMs. On our latest peek into the indie world we are checking out Just Look At The Moon, the new album from Cade Hoppe. Originally hailing from Sacramento, CA, Cade jumped all the way to the other side of the country to pursue his career as a creative musician. While he originally traveled to New York in pursuit of academic and athletic opportunities, 2020 shined a new light on his true passion. Cade had been writing songs and playing piano, guitar, bass, and saxophone since childhood, so he naturally pivoted into writing and releasing his own tracks. After a few experiments, Cade connected with Harper James of Eighty Ninety and began working with him as his core producer. This led to Cade’s debut EP Tell Me How It’s Worth It dropping in late 2021, catapulting Cade Hoppe into the next stage of his career.

“I managed to get much more existential with this project, for better or worse,” he says. “The more I give to music and the pursuit of it, the more detached from reality I become, and there’s a lot of that in here.” – Cade Hoppe

Indie-pop artist Cade Hoppe, based in New York, has unveiled his latest EP, ‘Just Look at the Moon,’ now available for streaming across all major platforms. This 7-track release showcases his remarkable artistic range, covering heartfelt love songs like “Labels” and “Only Human,” which delve into the depths of human emotion, as well as more introspective tracks like “Moon” and “Fresh Start” that explore existential themes. What sets this EP apart is the collaboration with acclaimed musical guests and collaborators, including Rob Moose, Harper James, Bobby Hawk, and Jesse Blum, who contribute to the EP’s richly textured sound.

‘Just Look at the Moon’ marks a significant milestone in Cade’s artistic journey, highlighting his growth as an artist, songwriter, and producer. Building on the success of his previous EPs, ‘Tell Me How It’s Worth It’ in 2021 and ‘Everything That’s Wrong With You’ in 2022, this release underscores Cade’s growing confidence and innovation in the indie-pop music scene, solidifying his position as a promising and creative force. With this EP, Cade Hoppe invites listeners on a musical adventure that showcases his ever-evolving artistry and deep connection with his audience.
