Bassjackers Return To Spinnin’ Records With New Cross-Over Single “Wrong or Right” Based on Iconic “The Riddle” Theme from the 80s
We weren’t expecting to go down a nostalgia trip this weekend, but here we are. On our latest trip to Spinnin’ Records we are checking out “Wrong or Right (The Riddle)”, the latest drop from the Bassjackers. Joining in on the production is Bassjackers, who has been kicking around in the EDM world since back in 2011. If fo some reason you’ve never had Bassjackers pop up on your radar, there is a large discography waiting for you. Their library consists of singles alongside Martin Garrix, Afrojack, KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, R3HAB, and Showtek, to name a few, as well as remixes for A-list artists including Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Moby, and Ne-Yo. Yeah, Bassrockers have been around and know talent when they see one.

This time we upped the ante by writing our own vocals to it and have it revolve more around that epic whistle.” – Bassjackers
While we’ve been strong advocates for the trend of remaking classic songs into modern EDM mixes to fade off already, this one we didn’t expect to hook us that deeply. The latest addition to the Bassjackers catalog and in the trend of polishing up 80s and 90s gems into EDM amalgamations, “Wrong or Right (The Riddle)” might sound familiar to those loosely familiar with 2000s dance music. While the original “The Riddle” was created by Nik Kershaw in 1984, the single has been covered by numerous artists including Gigi D’Agostino. While the original might be more cinematic feeling, Bassjackers took it into the studio and put their high-energy festival spin on it to make it more palatable to today’s listener. Featuring original lyrics written by Bassjackers themselves and a melodic top line, “Wrong or Right (The Riddle)” hits both that nostalgic factor and preps us for the upcoming festival season.
