Bailey Baum Releases Debut EP ‘Over It,’ Out via Next Wave / Ultra Records
There are many roads ahead of you when you decided to finally drop your debut EP, which one are you going to take? On our latest visit over to Next Wave Records/Ultra Music we are checking out Over It, the debut EP from Bailey Baum. Originally raised in Dallas but now based in Los Angeles, Bailey captures the idea and emotions behind being a woman in her mid 20’s navigating through life. Having spent the last few years perfecting her approach to pop music as an artist, Bailey creates realistic and anything but predictable songs that explore concepts around heartbreak and changes including everything in between. With a few releases under her belt already she has already amassed over 7 million streams and have landed on top-tier editorial playlists such as Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds,’ ‘Indie Pop,’ and ‘Chill Vibes,’ and Apple Music’s ‘Feels.’
“I want the EP to help people feel empowered to get ‘over it,’ while also acknowledging how important it is to let yourself feel everything deeply,” Bailey says. “No emotion or thought you have is invalid, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel of heartbreak.
