Artist Sizzy Rocket Drops New ANARCHY Album, Embracing Her Punk Pop Sound
We feel like we have been teasing this drop forever, and we are so glad to finally check out the full release. Kicking off coverage for this week we have ANARCHY, the lastest album drop from Sizzy Rocket. Officially debuting all the way back in 2016 with her first album Thrills, Sizzy Rocket almost immediately found success with her viral lead single “Bestie”. Now with all of these viral credits under her belt, Sizzy Rocket created this persona of your cool best friend…we all have that one we will easily cause chaos with. Having developed a cult-like following over the years since Sizzy Rocket continues to feed and entertain the masses with projects like 2017’s Hot Summer mixtape and 2019 album GRRRL. When not working on her own projects, Sizzy writes songs for plenty of other girl pop artists and groups.

Let’s face it, no one actually knows what it means to be a pop star in 2020, but at least Sizzy Rocket is on her own path to figure it out. In order to craft ANARCHY, Sizzy rented out multiple locations in Laurel Canyon and Downtown LA to fully immerse herself in the production process for eight straight days. The album features three of her previous singles, as well as seven brand new tracks that ooze with Sizzy’s signature style. Named after her punk rock roots and chaos dwelling just under the surface, ANARCHY is Sizzy’s most authentic and confident album yet. While “Smells Like Sex” and “Rollerskating” may have introduced us to the Sizzy Rocket mantra, ANARCHY provides plenty of new tracks that show the many facets of Sizzy Rocket’s style.
