Alan Walker Serves a Heavy Dose of Nostalgia With His First Single of 2023 – “Dreamer,” Out Now on NCS
If for some reason you haven’t heard of Alan Walker in your EDM journey, then you’ve been looking in the wrong place. On our initial visit to NCS we are checking out “Dreamer”, the latest drop from Alan Walker. Alan Walker, a 25-year-old Norwegian producer and DJ, has a massive following on social media with over 115 million followers and billions of streams and views on his music. He gained fame with his debut hit single “Faded,” and has since collaborated with many artists and released a chart-topping album called “Different World.” Alan has played over 700 headlining shows and festivals to date and released his third album, “Walkerverse Pt. I & II,” in 2022.

Sometimes you just have to listen to your vocal fan base and feed them a dose of nostalgia. The latest addition to Walker’s catalog, “Dreamer”, is designed to satisfy that need. The track pays homage to his earlier breakthrough singles, and it was produced within a 100-hour deadline. It’s a simultaneous ode to the past and a promise of the future, opening a new chapter for Alan’s storytelling through music. The single was released in collaboration with NCS (NoCopyrightSounds), the platform and community through which Alan Walker originally began his career and rose to popularity. Both NCS and Alan will be actively engaging with their communities to collaboratively create fan art, remixes, music videos, and more user-generated content for “Dreamer.”
