Two Weeks Down, Which Means Protocol Labs Releases ADE 2017 Part 3

As everyone who knows anything about modern electronic dance music knows, the musical zen that is the Amsterdam Dance Event is only a few weeks away. Also, that, in turn, means that Protocol will be completely tearing it up with plenty of new mixes and releases headed our way. Protocol has been in complete festivities since early May, as the label has finally reached their five years anniversary. Since this happens to be the case, Protocol has created Protocol Labs, a three-step release that will showcase all of the different styles and talents of the label’s rising talent. If you happen to be in Amsterdam for the event, make sure you swing by Protocol’s legendary venue Melkweg, where you will be able to view Nicky Romero and 20 other Protocol artists.

As we round out this series of Protocol Labs, we have to sign off with some stellar hits that will destroy the competition. As with each different playlist, Part III focuses on a general theme of a club and dancefloor-friendly grooves and vibes. Featuring three tracks and 1 remix, Part III truly is the best feet on the floor dance that Protocol has to offer. The EP starts off with “Hot For U” from Trilane & Yaro, which drives house beats and flows directly into the Navarra Remix of Sam Void’s “On My Mind”. We are glad that “On My Mind” has been featured more than once, as it has been our favorite Protocol release this year so far. The 2nd half begins with “Back Again” from Nilson & Freddy See, who definitely brings the grooves to a much needed EP. Part III finally rounds out with Funkybeat closing out the playlist once again with “Love Is Love.”…the perfect closer.

Make sure you give Protocol Lab – ADE 2017 Part III a full listen below.
