Time to Feel Vulnerable With Bonnie X Clyde’s “Torn”

Alright, Insomniac, what do you bring us on our delicious weekend wrap up? This week we have the latest from the proclaimed “vocal bass” duo Bonnie x Clyde with “Torn” and emotionally-driven dancefloor hit. While primarily a vocal and producing duo, BxC has found the perfect formula to make their own version of “vocal bass” music. Utilizing the beautiful and talented voice of Bonnie and the Avante-Garde sounds from Clyde’s repertoire to make a brilliant form of music that takes a master to craft. With numerous features in Insomniac’s after movies as well as on Sirius XM BPM, BxC is going everywhere and fast.

Alright modern-day Bonnie x Clyde, does your track portray an amount of emotion like we would expect from the track’s artwork? Are we ready to shed the outer layer of our defenses so we can be vulnerable and emotional? These artists portray a raw and destructive track that not only strips down listeners but builds them back up in their moment of strife. BxC’s ethereal vocal work makes “Torn” feel not just tragic but fragile…and at the same time groove-able. The combination of BxC’s vocals and the haunting work of design from the enigmatic duo Purge is something we immediately need more of.

Be sure you give “Torn” a full listen below!
