Zilched Shares New Single + Video “Loveless” Premiered Via FLOOD Magazine | Announces North American Tour In August Tickets On Sale Now

Some people lost their minds in the name of love. On our latest peek into the indie pop world we are checking out “Loveless” the latest drop from Zilched. The woman behind the moniker, Chloë Drallos, has been developing the Zilched brand and sound since late 2017. Releasing her debut EP Pulling Teeth in 2018, Zilched introduced the masses to her still-developing noise-pop style. After snagging buzz around her debut, Zilched quietly honed her sound and released a handful of singles as her style continued to grow. Now three years into her career, Zilched dropped her fall 2020 release Doompop, displaying her skills as an artist in full force. Inspired by albums from her teens such as Nirvana’s Nevermind and Mary Chain’s Psychocandy, Zilched is worming her way into the indie world and will definitely be an artist to keep your eye on.

“The song is like a conversation between lovers. Contemplating the purgatorial roller coaster that exists between freedom and unity. As for the video, I was inspired by disco TV performances and Giallo horror.” – Zilched

Zilched, also known as Chloe Drallos, is an emerging singer-songwriter based in the vibrant city of Detroit. With her unique blend of eclectic-pop, she has captivated audiences with her mesmerizing melodies and introspective lyrics. “Loveless” made its debut through a premiere on FLOOD Magazine, generating excitement among fans and music enthusiasts alike. The track is a standout addition to Zilched’s forthcoming album, Earthly Delights, scheduled for release on August 11 under the Young Heavy Souls label. The song itself takes listeners on an emotional journey, oscillating between shimmering, synth-laden interludes and an explosive chorus. It delves into the depths of frustration and longing, as Zilched candidly expresses her experiences with a withholding lover. Through heartfelt lyrics and a powerful, noise-pop sound, she confronts the complexities of navigating relationships and the challenges of finding connection amidst uncertainty. Despite the theme of lovelessness and indecision, Zilched’s musical execution remains consistent with her signature ethereal pop style. Her vocals soar with undeniable clarity, intertwining seamlessly with the atmospheric instrumentation. The result is a captivating sonic landscape that evokes both vulnerability and strength.
