Trap Musician Teri Miko Releases New Track “Fukuyo” on WOLV Records

cover-4

Welcome to the stage Teri Miko, what do you have to offer us? Miko has proven her detractors wrong consistently, as she has quickly become a female powerhouse in the trap and bass scene. She even caught the eye of producer Dyro, who decided to assist her in the release of “Fukuyo” on his label. She sure has come a long way from her early days as a turntablist, where she focused on hip-hop and old school beats. She isn’t slowing down at all, as she has even been showcased on the same stage as Afrojack and Mr. Probz.

I am going to say this right now, I didn’t know what I was expecting when I turned on “Fukuyo” for the first time. I knew it was trap, and believe me, it definitely doesn’t fall into any other category I can think of. What makes “Fukuyo” stand out (at least for us here at MiR) is that Miko includes many elements from native Indian music. For the first time hearing some Oriental trap music, I have to give it two thumbs up. Miko is able to blend together two completely different worlds and the result is actually listenable. We are impressed.

If you would like to listen to the track yourself, it is for sale here:
