They Might Be Giants Release ‘Eyeball’ EP Out Now Announce New THE BIGGER SHOW TOUR | Spring Dates On Sale Next Week

Alternative rock icons They Might Be Giants are back with a fresh burst of creativity, unveiling their new Eyeball EP, now available on all streaming platforms and in the TMBG download store. The four-track project kicks off with the titular “Eyeball,” a track that blends the band’s signature quirky energy with infectious hooks. “The Glamour of Rock” follows, delivering a playful, high-voltage take on the joys and absurdities of stardom. The EP also includes the instrumental standout “Peggy Guggenheim,” a cinematic showcase for the band’s three-piece horn section that blasts off in full throttle—so vivid and dynamic it could easily score a pulse-pounding movie chase scene. The project closes with a reimagined version of “Eyeball” from the acclaimed remix duo The Elegant Too, offering a fresh, inventive perspective on the EP’s opening track.

“Our favorite way of making albums is to write and record too many songs and then arrange the ones that work together as an album. We always have a bunch of good tracks left over to make an EP. I’m sure there’s some exact equivalent process that goes on in the kitchen of a fancy restaurant, but I’m just guessing here. Anyway, these are the ‘amuse-bouche’ or perhaps ‘amuse-oreille’ tracks that we hope will be an enticing appetizer before the next album emerges from the oven.”

This release is just the opening salvo ahead of They Might Be Giants’ all-new, all-banger album dropping this spring, promising even more of the band’s inventive pop-rock mastery. On stage, TMBG transforms into an eight-piece powerhouse, spotlighting their electrifying horn section and delivering performances that are as unpredictable as they are exhilarating. Fans can expect an ever-evolving setlist that spans the band’s entire catalog—from the early alt-rock classics that first defined them, to bold, horn-driven new material, and deep cuts that reveal the full breadth of their musical ingenuity. The BIGGER SHOW TOUR promises sprawling, enthralling, and endlessly entertaining performances: a fully immersive TMBG experience where tight arrangements meet on-the-fly improvisation, proving once again why They Might Be Giants are true masters of musical reinvention.
