Songwriter Annabel Gutherz Reveals New Emotional Single “Remnant” + Upcoming Debut Album
There is a very distinct change from when you make your debut single vs your debut album. On our latest peek into the indie world we are checking out “Remnant”, the latest single from Annabel Gutherz. Officially debuting back in 2018, Annabel found the balance between current alternative pop and classic americana. Annabel introduced herself to the indie scene with her first philanthropic single “Legends”, where she donated all of the proceeds to support various charities in Montreal. After making her debut, she has spent the last few years honing her craft at Berklee College of Music and is now ready to re-introduce herself as a musician to the world. Today’s single is actually the first off her upcoming album which we should be hearing sometime later this year.

The newest single to come out of Annabel’s camp, “Remnant”, is a coming-of-age single that is filled to the very brim with retrospective emotions. At its core, “Remnant” is a raw and honest conversation with Annabel serving as our storyteller for the witty yet heart-wrenching story. She uses the highly personal track as a vehicle to explore the fragility of friendships, especially as they fall apart as we grow older and fall apart.
